This was a stair parts installation in New Build house in Leeds during June 2015.
32mm square spindles were installed into half crown base and handrail system using 90mm plain newal posts. This method gives a very modern look to this new build modern house.
All spindles were given an 88mm spacing in accordance with building regulations, which dictate a maximum spacing of 99mm to prevent small children and infants from falling through gaps.
Mitre corner joint was biscuit jointed and glued with high strength resin to make a super strong joint that will last, and all posts and rails were fixed with strong 6" coach screws. We also used specially cut bridal and overlap joints on newal posts to give a strong base.
Installation took 1 day for 2 men to complete.
